Hi! My name is Alexia. I'm Belgian and I always loved studying languages. Being able to change languages makes me feel like a magician. I studied Languages and Literature and then Journalism, but I always loved explaining things to others. I speak French, English, and Spanish, but I also studied German and Russian. I started teaching at Kids&Us in Stockel in 2019, and I had the opportunity to see with my own eyes how kids learn the language and make progress. I am personally convinced by the Kids&Us method, and I see how children have fun and enjoy the lessons.

    Ambi (Academic Coordinator)

Hello! My name is Ambika and I work at the T&T school as an Academic Coordinator. I grew up in India and English was always a language that intrigued me as a child. I was able to attend an international school and through this experience I quickly became bilingual. I've been teaching at Kids&Us for five years and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I think the colourful teaching materials at Kids&Us are really fun make teaching a real pleasure as the classes are so creative and the children discover that learning can be a pleasure rather than a chore.

  • Katherine (Teacher)

    Katherine (Teacher)

Hello! My name is Katherine and I’m from the US. My passion has always been languages and, after moving to Edinburgh to study linguistics, I knew I wanted to teach English as a foreign language. I am a strong believer in the importance of learning a second (or third or fourth!) language and love working with children. Seeing their enthusiasm and watching them thrive in a natural language learning setting is what I love most about working with Kids and Us. I enjoy learning about new cultures and love cooking, boxing, and board games.

  • Van Nhi (Teacher)

    Van Nhi (Teacher)

I’m Van Nhi. I’m from Vietnam. I speak Vietnamese, English and a bit of French, and I’m also learning Dutch. I am following a master programme of Multilingualism and Foreign Language Acquisition at VUB. I love languages and how our cognition acquires languages. I think it is one of the most beautiful abilities of humans. I love how every small detail matters at Kids&Us, from the materials and the lesson plans, to the way we communicate to parents and students. It is truly a wonderful environment. I've taught levels from Linda, Sam, Oliver, Marcia, Pam&Paul, Ben&Brenda and Animal Planet 1!

  • Andjela (Teacher)

    Andjela (Teacher)

Hello! I’m Andjela, and I’m Serbian-Italian! I’m new here, just like some of you, as I moved to Belgium in the summer of 2021 after completing a Bachelor’s in Foreign Language and Literature. In my free time I love baking brownies and cheesecakes, watching fantasy movies and reading books. I fell in love with English at a young age thanks to a neighbor and I have never looked back. Now it’s the language I use the most for my day-to-day life, and I have always loved the idea of teaching it to others! Whenever the opportunity presents itself, I implement teaching through songs and games. That’s why I have so much fun during the Kids&Us lessons! Have you figured out which levels I teach?
